Equipped with 33 detection zones for an exact location indication
The PD6500i detection port features a 33 detection zone pinpoint system for exact positioning of an object. There are LED lamps on both panels of the detection gate. As soon as a person walks through the detection gate carrying a metal object, such as a weapon, an alarm will sound and the security officer can easily read on the panels on which side, at what height and at what location the object is located. This makes the PD6500i a very accurate and time-saving system.
High throughput speed + throughput indicator
The Garrett PD6500i is known for having a very high throughput speed. As a result, this metal detection gate is also extremely suitable for events and airports, where a large number of people have to be checked in a very short time. The PD6500i also features a flow indicator. The visitor can therefore easily read on the display whether he must wait or may continue. This is also an ideal system for the security guard, since in this way he can be sure that the gate is ready for the detection scan during rapid checks.
Easy assembly:
The PD6500i has a modular construction which makes installation very easy. You simply mount the four components with 8 screws and 3 internal electrical connectors.
Audio and visual alarm:
The Garrett PD6500i is equipped with both an audio alarm and a visual LED indication as soon as an object is detected.
High security control module:
The control module is provided with different user levels. This means that only an authorized user can change settings such as program or sensitivity. The PD6500i metal detector port also features a lockable module so that unauthorized persons cannot damage the detector or tamper with cables, connectors and electronics. When an incorrect code is entered, an alarm will sound within ten seconds unless a correct code is entered within that time. You can also read how often unauthorized persons have tried to enter the program.
Synchronization
If you want to work with multiple detection ports in a room, it is important that the ports do not operate on the same frequency (channel). The Garrett PD 6500i sensing port is equipped with multiple frequencies and can therefore be easily arranged with other sensing ports without one disturbing the magnetic field of the other.
2-piece counting system
This detection gate has a counting system where you can easily read how many people have passed through the detection gate and at what percentage of the scanned persons the detection alarm went off.
Memory
The Garrett PD6500i sensing port retains all settings even when power has been turned off. This port also does not need to be recalibrated when the unit is temporarily turned off. No memory battery is required. While the detector is on, a continuous automatic "self-check" is performed and problems are immediately noted and reported on the LCD display.
Weather resistant
This detection gate is weatherproof and therefore also suitable for limited outdoor use. However, the detection port is not completely watertight!
