This multi-frequency underwater detector from Minelab promises hassle-free searches under any circumstance! Due to the multi-frequency (BBS) technique, this detector is completely insensitive to interference caused by salt water or highly mineralized soil, but at the same time very sensitive to the smallest non-ferrous objects. The Excalibur 2 features fluorescent colors that make using underwater more pleasant. There are 5 rotary knobs or the “control sleeve”; A button to choose between metal selection (disc) or pinpoint. An on/off button combined with “Threshold” to adjust the base tone in the pinpoint position. A volume control, a sensitivity control knob (Sensitivity) and a knob to set the degree of metal selection (Discriminate). The sensitivity can be set manually or automatically.
This Minelab Excalibur with 25cm / 10” search disc is recommended for waders and beach seekers over the version with the 20cm / 8” search disc
