Quest spade: adjustable folding spade for metal detecting
The Quest spade is a sturdy spade for detectorists who dig a lot. The aluminium shaft extends from 84 to 108 cm, so you can set it to your height. For transport, fold the blade in: the spade is then only 60 cm long and fits in a bag or car boot.
Also usable as a pick
The blade folds 90 degrees, so you can use the spade as a pick and dig quickly in loose sand or soft ground without using your foot. Both sides of the blade are serrated, making it easy to cut through roots and hard soil.
Handy extras in the blade
The stainless steel blade includes a wire cutter, a bottle opener and three hex sizes. The wide 16 cm foot step gives you grip when you do push with your foot.
