Groundtech 3D ground scanners, deep-seeking systems and metal detectors for professional ground investigation. Discover the A2, A2-GEO and IQ Detect Scuba.
Groundtech develops specialist metal detectors, 3D ground scanners and systems for advanced ground investigation.
At Detect, the Groundtech range includes systems such as the Groundtech A2, A2-GEO and IQ Detect Scuba.
The Groundtech A2 combines a 3D Ground Scanner with an integrated Pulse Induction metal detector.
It is designed for investigating metal objects, ground anomalies and larger underground structures. Measurement data can be analysed in 3D using Groundtech G-Portal software.
The Groundtech A2-GEO is the more advanced version of the A2.
In addition to 3D Ground Scanning and Pulse Induction metal detection, it adds a geo-electrical resistivity system for more extensive investigation of underground structures.
Groundtech also develops compact systems for beach and underwater detecting.
The Groundtech IQ Detect Scuba is a compact Pulse Induction detector with 360° detection and Dive Mode, designed for underwater use down to 30 metres.
A conventional metal detector is mainly designed to locate metal objects directly while searching. A 3D ground scanner collects measurements across an area so that underground anomalies and structures can be analysed afterwards.
Groundtech specifies a possible 3D scanning depth of up to 20 metres for the A2 series. This should not be interpreted as a fixed detection depth for every target.
Actual depth depends on factors including target size, ground conditions, scanning method and measurement quality.
Specialist 3D ground scanners require a different approach from conventional metal detectors. We are happy to help you determine which Groundtech system best matches your intended application.
